MECHANICS HALL COVID-RELATED GUIDELINES

EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 19, 2022 (rev. 02182022)

In the public interest, we continue to encourage mask wearing and vaccination. Please note, some client events may have more specific requirements, so be sure to check each event listing. You can find our Calendar of Events here.

MECHANICS HALL HAS IMPLEMENTED SAFETY AND CLEANING PROTOCOLS:

  • HAND SANITIZER STATIONS
Hand sanitizer stations are placed in public, private, and service areas throughout the building.
  • FACILITY CLEANING
At least daily, and more frequently, if necessary, areas of use in the building are cleaned and disinfected. This includes frequent disinfecting of high-touch spots and heavy transit areas including restrooms.
  • OTHER SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

    • Electrostatic cleaning equipment is used on seating, tables, and cloth surfaces before and after each event.
    • Public Restrooms have touchless water faucets.
    • Contactless payment is available.
    • Controlled Air Circulation: we manually control the percentage of return outdoor air mixing into our HVAC supply systems. This control ensures supply of ample fresh air circulation.  As recommended for the size of our spaces, MERV-13 air filters have been installed in the Great Hall. Washburn Hall air filters are MERV-8.
