This new work by the Welsh composer, Karl Jenkins, was first premiered at Carnegie Hall in March 2012. The texts are drawn from the utterances of the various peacemakers pictured on the cover (including Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela, and the Dalai Lama of Tibet), as well as poets and scriptural passages. The Master Singers is proud to perform the New England premiere, joined by other area choirs, the Worcester Children’s Chorus, and the WPI Orchestra. The concert also features the 1864 E. & G.G. Hook Organ (aka The Worcester Organ), in Celebration of its 150th Anniversary.

Supported in part by an Alfred Nash Patterson Grant from Choral Arts New England and by Greater Worcester Community Foundation.
